A little bit of History
1968 saw the foundation of Wakehurst Netball Club. With neighbouring Forest Netball Club reaching it's 40 team limit, a decision was made to form a new club, naming it Wakehurst Netball Club.
After selecting a teal blue box pleated uniform, and gathering a number of teams, Wakehurst entered into the 1969 winter competition of the Manly Warringah Netball Association.
By the early 1970's the club had grown quickly and Wakehurst had well over 30 teams competition.
The clubs record for the most number of teams in a season was in 2014, with 49 teams representing Wakehurst.
